Ira is a simple beast really, born and bred in Charlotte, NY. Son and grandson of local cops who has always known what he was going to grow up to be. A cop. That was what he focussed on through growing up. School was about getting where he needed to in order to get into the academy. He excelled at sport and made his parents, still native of Charlotte very proud. He graduated the top of his academy class and loves being what he worked so hard to achieve, a very good cop.

Ira has always been a guy's guy but with none of the confidence of the usual high flying jock. While not quite a stuttering virgin, he is still painfully shy around women and is therefore massively single, and pretty jealous of those who aren't. He'd like the girl to find him and put up with his stuttering and blushing and find the decent man underneath the uniform. He's an outdoorsy type who loves his dog and his family.
